I'm Adam Crum, and I'm running for Governor. I grew up in a dry cabin on the Kenai Peninsula, helped build family businesses, and I've run two state departments. Thirteen straight years now, more people have left the state than moved to it—about 57,000 of us. They leave because it costs too much to live here. I know exactly why, and I know what it takes to fix it.

Adam Crum is a conservative Christian running as a Republican candidate for Governor of Alaska. He was born and raised on the Kenai Peninsula and helped build Northern Industrial Training, the largest trade school in Alaska, which puts Alaskans to work in truck driving, welding, and mechanics. Adam served as Alaska's Commissioner of Health and Social Services from 2018 to 2022 and Commissioner of Revenue from 2022 to 2025.

He lives in Wasilla with his wife, Colleen, and their two daughters. His running mate is Bob Craig, former CEO of the Alaska Heart & Vascular Institute.

Alaska's Future

Energy Alaskans
can afford

Alaska sits on the most per-capita energy potential in the U.S., if not the world. We need to build multiple power generation projects and the power grid to move it. Once energy is unlocked, then the economy is unlocked.

Work you can raise
a family on

Skilled trades, resource development jobs, and the training that leads to them. Through my trade school, I've put thousands of Alaskans to work around the state. I understand the value and dignity of knowing a trade and working with your hands, and how that provides for families.

Lead in resource
development

Alaska's minerals, oil and gas are the reason the rest of the country needs us and the reason our kids can build a life here. A permit that takes ten years isn't a safeguard. It's a decision to say no, taken slowly enough that nobody has to sign it.

Communities worth
staying for

Nobody leaves a state over one thing. They leave when the power bill, the schools and the safety all point the same direction. Fixing the cost of living is how you fix the rest.

Energy

Nobody took the $17.50

Enstar offered $17.50 per thousand cubic feet to anyone who would drill and produce new gas. Nobody took it. That isn't an expensive market. It's an empty one.

Fisheries

We count every fish. Nobody counts the diesel.

Alaska manages salmon better than anyone on earth, and manages the cost of catching them not at all.

I grew up in a
dry cabin

Water hauled from a spring. Camp showers with pitchers of hot water. My dad was a haul road trucker until he was injured on the job and we lost everything. After that, the whole family became a work crew.

Kids on chainsaws clearing the land. Building houses and selling them to pay the bills. Learning the value of hard work and sacrifice.

Colleen and I are raising our two daughters here, which is the entire reason I'm running for Governor.
